Maybe you should just keeping walking…

When did ripping people apart due to their weight ever make a brand look good???  This Amsterdam Gym thought this innovative ad, that weighs the person sitting on the bench waiting for the bus. was the ticket.  I have to personally disagree, but what do I know – maybe this what I need to happen to me, so I stop slacking off and get back to the gym.

OMEGA goes retro at Basel World 2009

in Fashion No Comments

omega

As ComicCon is to comic book lovers, and E3 was to video game enthusiasts -  Basel World is the quality icing to any watch fanatics cake. A yearly even where watch companies get to strut their stuff as they unveil their latest masterpieces.  From what I have seen so far, OMEGA is definitely out to steal the show.  Announced today Omega will reissue the famous PloProf diver’s watch.  Originally released in the 1970s with the help of Jacques Cousteau, the shark-proof bracelet strap supports a bi-directional rotating bezel with security push-button lock that resists water up to 1200 meters deep.

Well all that jazz sounds cool, I myself really only care about how bad ass it looks.  This watch would cause more head turns then a naked woman in Time Square…well maybe not, but its still dope.  Retail Price – $7.700 USD

I Love Twitter!

in Point of View No Comments

twitterBut I don’t use it. As a matter of fact, upon last check, there wasn’t one “Minichini” using Twitter to-date. I have avoided using it because I know I can’t keep up with it. I am sure soon, I will make the leap because I think it’s a very personal way to keep in touch with those close to you, but when you think about it … Twitter demands a ton of content – even if it is once sentence at a time.

I’ve been reading lately that a lot of celebs are using Twitter to keep in close contact with their loyal fans. We know through so many stories that most of these tweets are created and posted by pro writers, not the celebs themselves. What a joke. Wouldn’t that just alienate fans … make them feel like they went to a great Broadway show only to see the stand-in play the lead role. The entire point of tweeting is to get up-close and personal ….. with the person, not their staff member.

Oh Yes ….. TV On The Go!

in Technology No Comments

Now this is technology working for the people.   SlingMedia announced the submission of a new app for review that will allow streaming TV to iPone and iTouch.  Commuting – totally different ball game!  Business travel – so good!  Why does this make me so happy??

I am going to take a deep breath, knowing Apple does not easily approve these mega apps that transfer massive amounts of data, but I’ll have my fingers crossed.

Welcome!  We’re glad you’re here.  We think you will like what you read, what you see, what you hear … maybe even what you experience.  My name is Steve and I am  president of Triumph360.  We are in our second year and our company continues to grow.  Every day we find new opportunities, new challenges and new relationships.  Growing a company in this marketplace takes a special something and I have been lucky enough to find great partnerships that have helped us succeed.

Throughout our first year, each and every day I found myself engaged in great conversations.  Conversations about marketing, about politics, about culture, the arts and sciences, history and of course the digital landscape … all of it!  You will find a different point of view almost every day on this blog and I am sure at times things could get a little dicey.  At the very least, I think it will be interesting.

We would love to hear from you.  Any point of view is fine.  Feel free to post away.  We are open for comment…….
